CO-MED par UP

  • Is co-med par UP accepting NEW patients?

NO.   The program is currently full and unfortunately not accepting new patients.

  • How do I make an appointement to see my family doctor?

By following the link at the top of this page, patients registered to a family doctor at co-med par UP will have access to make the next available appointement.

  • How can I communicate with the co-med team?

Co-med par UP was designed to maximally use technology and does not have a secretariat.    Being human and ensuring access to care remains PARAMOUNT.

By leaving a voice message on co-med par UP’s phone service, our team will receive a transcript by email and get back to you within 7-10 days.

NOTE : requests for modifications of appointements are ONLY processed via the link in the originial confirmation email.

  • I have an emergency health concern for my child. Do I use co-med or Centre UP?

Co-med par UP is a family medicine program aimed at helping you care for your children’s growth and development and this clinic is used for NON-URGENT visits.

If you have an emergency health concern, co-med has a corridor of service with Centre UP.  Centre UP is open 12 hours a day and 365 days a year.   Go to www.centreup.ca to make an emergency appointement,

If no appointements are available, can also call 811 and/or go to your hospital emergency room.

  • RAMQ sent me a letter asking to CALL clinic, but unable to reach anyone. When is this program's START DATE?

RAMQ letter is an automated letter that unfortunately we were unable to tailor to when / how co-med par UP is being launched.

Patients will be able to book non-urgent appointements as of mid-April for the program’s start in June 2024.

There was also some confusion about the name of the clinic / establishment that Dr Aldea will be seeing patient for non-urgent health visits.

To clarify, CO-MED is for nonurgent family medicine care of patients registered to Dr Aldea, and Centre UP is an emergency centre where Dr Aldea will also be working.

As seen in above FAQ, the system is designed without a secreteriat and all access via this webpage.
